like a piquant note of jazz:

white and black

as piano keys

the bristly, hirsute mane

and oh, so graceful

in herds

the billowing

smooth zebra

grazing on the golden savannah

eyes astride

on the cunning bush

sniffing for danger

that lurks

rump tattooed in that most

unique

Afro-equestrian

brand of pop art

finest fitness: hooves and heart

ready

to take soaring flight

like the soul of Africa

itself

sprinting for life

galloping in unbound freedom

to bring on the dawning

of a new day...
